It has been a busy month! I am still in shock that it is fall! How did September wiz by so fast? Some days I feel like I lost a whole month. Ahhhhhh! It is times like this I truly appreciate one of Gretchen Rubin’s Secrets of Adulthood, “The days are long, but the years are short.” But when I look through my pictures from the last month I realize that even though it has been busy, I have had loads of fun!
In August, the Pineapple in our Front Yard was ready to pick and eat. We ate it so fast that I never got pictures of the yummy insides. Can you believe that the Hubby and I ate a whole pineapple in one sitting? I can. It was good!
At the end of August we went on a field trip to Kennedy Space Center to see the new Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit. WOW! Breathtaking! If you are in the Central Florida Area it is well worth the trip.
Mexican Train Dominoes anyone?
With all the afternoon showers, rainbows were following me. And I was not complaining.
Catching my alma mater’s (Colorado State) football game on TV in Florida is near impossible so sadly I stopped trying. Then one day, when we were out to dinner, there it was on ESPN 2. I was so amazed that I had to take a picture!
Joe and I enjoyed a night out with Event Industry peeps at Ballroom at Church Street. The stained glass windows provide a stunning atmosphere.
Quick photo with the Hubby as we enjoy Walt Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Party. A night of trick or treating, Halloween Parade, fun rides and Fireworks, sounds like a good night to me!
Another night out with the Hubby! Date night at the newly renovated California Grill at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort.
We started our dinner with the Oven-dried Tomato Flatbread. Oh so good!
For my entree I ordered the George Banks Scallops with Homemade Gnocchi, Smoked Pork, Grilled Onions, Baby Brussels and Parmesan Foam. I savored every bite.
We ended our date night with Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom!
Can’t wait to see what the next month brings!
What have you been up to?
