Here’s a look at the past week –
Monday: Dinner with our Friends from New York at Disney’s Narcoossee Restaurant. I devoured the Grilled Alaskan Wild Caught HalibutMarble Potatoes, Florida Sweet Corn, Nueske’s Cherrywood-smoked Bacon, “Chowda” Sauce, Celery, and Green Garlic Oil. YUM!
Tuesday: Enjoying the boats at Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk
Wednesday: Trip to the Airport to pick up Bryan, the Pie Guy. It’s time for the National Pie Championships! He is returning for the 8th year to defend his 1st place wins.
Thursday: On behalf of the California Raisin Board, Bryan shares his tips on baking with California Raisins. “I heard it through the grape vine!”
Friday: The pineapple in our front yard, it’s a growing!
Saturday: 200 Samples of Raisin-Carrot Cake Pie! Bryan’s creation that we helped handing out during is demonstration on the Main Stage at the Great American Pie Festival. Would you like some pie? Would you like some pie? Would you like some pie?
Sunday: Celebrity sighting at the Awards Ceremony for the Professional Division at the National Pie Championship! We were totally bummed that Bryan did not win one single award this year, a first in his 8 year run. On the other hand we enjoyed a complete fun weekend filled with P – I – E!
